Facebook post #1
This was my first blog post. The purpose of this post was inform my Facebook about all of the funny hand gestures that Italians make. This allows viewers to relate it to their own family if they do the same and to realize that Italians all have a common understanding when it comes to moving their hands. It allows viewers to understand what each hand gesture is so they won't be lost whenever they see this, if they aren't Italian. The feedback I received was definitely what I was looking for since it was my first post. There were 4 comments and 6 likes. Two of the comments were from my classmates and the other 2 were people that I know. Its nice to see what they have to say about this post.
Facebook Post #2
On this post, I added 3 photos of memes that was intended for my audience to laugh at. On this post I received 2 likes and 2 comments with 2 replies to one comment. This post received a little more attention because I was able to have a conversation and provide feedback to my viewer. In addition, i was able to refer back to another post since he mentioned something about Olive Garden which was something I wrote about in my later posts. This conversation seemed like it was real since I was able to suggest restaurants from his area by looking at his location.
Facebook post #3
This post was intended for the audience to listen to some authentic Italian music with a popular artist like Andrea Bocelli. This song is famous throughout the world just like how Nicole Hope realized this song was from the movie, Step Brothers. This post was intended for viewers to see if they know the song and learn about it if they haven't. This post received 3 likes and 3 comments, with one reply from me.
Facebook post #4
This is my fourth blog post. The purpose of this blog to inform readers about the multiple Italian recipes that are out there. This post received a little less feedback since I only received 2 likes and one like, but it did reach 32 people. They were from my mother and my sister so I hope to get other viewers.
Facebook post #5
This is my fifth Facebook post. To learn how to live like an Italian, you need to know Italy look likes. The purpose of this blog is to have viewers to feel like they are actually in Italy. This post only received 3 likes and no comments which I wasn't too pleased with. The only thing I was pleased with as that I received a like from someone who I don't know, Vita. This shows that my Facebook Page is expanding to people who I don't know so it gave me hope that my Facebook Page will become more popular.
Facebook Post #6
This is my sixth Facebook post. The purpose of this post was to inform viewers about the size of the streets in Italy. They are very small so they need to learn how to drive in this small space if they rent a car when and if they visit Italy. This post was 2 pictures but the picture above received feedback. It had a comment and they asked where it was. I replied back by explaining that it was from my hometown. This shows that I'm promoting dialogue into my posts.
Facebook post #7
This is my 7th post. The purpose of this post is to help viewers learn about these important and common phrases from whenever viewers visit Italy or just speaking to an Italian from their area. This post has received 3 likes and one comment. I wished I received more and will try to learn about ways to make my page more popular in the future.
facebook post #8
This is the 8th post of my Facebook page. The purpose of this post was for viewers to relate to an TV show, such as Family Guy and is intended to make the viewers laugh. It reached 59 people and received 3 likes and 2 comments. One of the commenters didn't like the post. Overall, I wished I received more likes and comments but I still received some feedback rather than none.
facebook post #9
This is my 9th post. This post's purpose was to have people laugh and inform people about how Olive Garden isn't Italy. This would let viewers keep in mind that Olive Garden isn't a real Italian whenever they are hunting for an authentic Italian restaurant. This post only received 3 likes. I was hoping for more since I kept posting. I figured if I kept posting, my popularity would rise up but overall I'm happy I received some feedback.
Facebook Strategy Report
Overall, this experience was interesting. I made the Facebook page thinking that I wasn't going to receive any feedback from anyone besides maybe my classmates. I received feedback from my classmates, friends, family, and one stranger which was better than I expected. I didn't expect to get a like from a person who I don't know. This shows that with the popular marketing and advertising skills, I can make this post more well known and get more popularity since it was done from one post. If I were to continue posting to this Facebook page, I would include more interesting captions to each post to make viewers more interested in the content of the post. In addition, I would include the link of my Facebook page to my personal page to increase the views and feedback. Overall, this experience made me realize that theres a lot of advertising when it comes to getting popularity from Facebook viewers but it can be done since I received a random person's like.
